                                                        Vault of Eagles

After going to gigs every night for 1,300 days consecutively, it had all started to get quite samey and repetitive, band, cigarette, band, cigarette, band, home. Until I saw this band!

                                                        (Much) more to follow...

"This band really stand apart, musically and lyrically, they have to be seen live to witness the full spectacle... unique and total quality - so come on you A&R people!" -- BBC Introducing

"Dirty heaviness, utter raw prog grunge with a difference! A sound firmly rooted in rock but extending far beyond" -- Kevyn Gammond, Band Of Joy

"An act that has been wagging a few tongues on the local metal scene...after seeing Vault Of Eagles for the first time i'm not at all surprised! Kidderminster based three piece with Scott on drums, Hetty on bass and Mari on guitar and vocals, but girl-school type grunge they aint! In fact they are three musicians of top quality, blend together mili-second and pitch perfect, using sycopation thrown in occasionally as a bit of showing off! I describe the sound as Math-Metal (by the way I just made that [genre] up of course) Well for me VOE are an exciting new find in what has been a brilliant year so far for an up-and-coming act. Seeing an outfit this good after only a handful of gigs, and knowing they are only going to improve yet more, is incredibly heart-warming! Like Naked Remedy they have picked a cracking signature number in their version of Python-Lee Jackson's "In A Broken Dream". Top choice!... In the local scene with progish four-piece The Black Acid Band, who are definately a cut above the usual Stoner Metal act. Can't wait to hear more from this lot...!" -- Andy O'Hare
