It's all there for your free click/play (dis)pleasure so why not listen to some weird music today.
I'll warn you right now, this is not your normal cup of musical tea. If you've been thinking about trying a different scoop of the 32 flavours, then here's an act that I recently discovered whilst researching Grimes for another post on this blog, which led me to read about the genre 'Witch House'. I was trying to work out if it was a real genre and that's when I fell down the rabbit hole that is 'Trianglecore'. There's way more acts than I even care to think about, all with their names and track names full of symbols making then unGoogleable (there's a word I never thought I'd type). It encompases several subgenres such as Crack Wave, Crunk-Gaze, Ghost Drone and Zombie Rave. It all sounds a bit silly at first until you start listening to some of it and thinking to yourself, well, this is shoegaze...and this is crunk, so I guess it does make sense to call this crunk-gaze, but by that point you'll have listened to enough to get you hooked in. After a while it all becomes quite normal and it's then when you stop and start listenig to a standard singer/songwriter you realise how far removed this music is. To me it sounds like an extension of post-rock and this track in particular sounds like it could have been on the soundtrack to Rob Zombie's film 'The Devil's Rejects'. Go on, hit play below...see what I mean? If you like what you hear, I can tell you that this is Track 4 from the EP Demo "N" WitchHouse which was released in 2011. It's pretty hard to find anymore info these artists but if you are intrigued then why not check out ϟ▲卐▲\\, эqЏıђ•x, ▼□■□■□■, ‹‹ʘ››, I††, †rzeci Świ▲† and last but not least ██▓♅▓██. It's all there for your free click/play (dis)pleasure so why not listen to some weird music today.

Making your music folder better, one song at a time.
_Pretty much everyday I seem to find some amazing exclusive tracks that
some awesome artists are giving away for free as a special one off
promotion. Today, it occured to me that instead of just downloading
them, maybe reposting them on facebook if they're special enough/someone I know and
then moving on, I should start a little music blog on here. Even if it
doesn't last forever, it's still a free song for you each day that it
does! I'd say the character of this blog is mostly electropop and singer/songwriter but I've got plans for mathcore, post-rock and glitch-hop. A lot of these tracks have a download limit of 100 so get in there on the quick. I'd also point out that a lot of the songs will need renaming once you've downloaded them so I'd do them one at a time. Archives
